The Forge region in particular has been heavily affected, with thousands of unattended ships cluttering its belts. This pollution build-up threatens the local ecosystem, with grave consequences for native species if left unchecked. Omber and Kernite asteroids are already critically endangered in Caldari space, with sightings becoming increasingly rare. Similar population drops are predicted for Scordite and Pyroxeres if pollution levels are not curbed in the immediate future.
